General

What is CollectiveAid all about?

CollectiveAid is a unique online platform that enables its members to conduct business while supporting public schools or any nonprofit organization of their choice by providing advanced eCommerce tools.

How does it work?

Members post their new/used goods (i.e. computers, chairs, bicycles, etc.) for sale, services they can provide, and/or chores they need done where they need to decide a donation percentage (1-100%) of the final sale amount to be donate to their school/nonprofit of choosing directly.

Is making donation mandatory?

Yes.  The whole purpose of this platform is to provide additional funding for schools and organizations that are making our communities better place to live in.  You can choose from 1% to 100% of final sale to be donated.

Can I buy And sell with the same account?

Yes.  CollectiveAid provides a bidirectional eCommerce platform so that members can enjoy buying and selling under one account and be sure that in either case they’ll be helping and supporting their communities.

How do I know if my donations are delivered to the organization intended to?

We have partnered with one of the most secure and prominent payment solution providers, PayPal, to ensure this process takes place instantly from donors’ PayPal accounts directly to schools’/nonprofits’ PayPal account.

Do I need to have a PayPal account?

Yes.  CollectiveAid has partnered with PayPal to ensure all transactions and donations get delivered to their intended sources securely and instantly.

What does it cost?

Posting, selling, and buying of goods and/or services are completely FREE!

CollectiveAid does not deduct any fees from your final sales of goods/services whatsoever.  What you sell is what you keep (less your donations and any fees deducted from your financial institutions).

Campaigns

How does campaigning work?

Campaigns at CollectiveAid provide wider flexibility to members so they donate beyond monetary means, and campaigners get rewarded if they meet the goal amount they set.  Members can create campaigns in a form of Crowdfunding with four easy steps:

  1. Select School/Charity/Nonprofit you want to raise funds for
  2. Enter an amount that you want to raise
  3. Write a story, upload pictures, insert a YouTube video
  4. Invite friends to post their goods and services

Can I make money by running campaigns?

Absolutely!  At CollectiveAid everybody wins!

Our partnership with schools and nonprofits allows us to reward those “campaigners” who bring visibility to causes/schools/nonprofits by the way of spreading the word around between their network to meet the target they set out in their campaigns.

For example:

Member creates a campaign to support a school of choice with a target amount of $1000; then invites friends and family to post their goods and services where portion of their sale will be donated to that campaign; as people transact, their selected donations will be calculated towards goal of the campaign; campaigner who facilitated this campaign will receive 10% of the donations that were facilitated, which in this case will be $100.

If campaigner reaches the target amount (in above example $1000) in 30-days or less, then reward will be 15%, or $150 .

Members can create as many as campaigns they like by upgrading their membership to Community Pro.
